A friend of mine, who's not into the miniatures hobby herself, was very excited to learn from me today that there are numerous 28mm miniatures of Indiana Jones. What she would love to have even more is a matching miniature for Sophia Hapgood, Indy's companion from "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" (the legendary point-and-click adventure PC game from the early 90s, which we both love). This would be for some sort of diorama piece that I may help her make. I doubt there is a miniature specifically of her like there are ones of Indy, but maybe I can find something close to it. She must be dressed like in the game: Boots, trousers, leather jacket and a shirt that has the top few buttons undone (this last bit is important, not to show boobs, but to show the iconic Atlantean medallion). Long, slightly voluminous and curly hair. Now, how to sculpt those iconic statues from the game

Look at the female on the far left in set BC-19 link Maybe with a head swap or some conversion work. There seems to be just enough cleavage showing to paint in a medallion. |

Perhaps this one, with a little conversion work:
Forgot to add, its from Artizan's Kiss Kis, Bang Bang line |

I'll pass both of those suggestions on. Thanks! A picture for reference. The medallion itself is not important (sculpting a tiny approximation of it should be easy enough), nor is the skirt-and-blouse version of her (IIRC she's dressed like that in only one scene in the game).

There is also, from Pulp Figures, the one in the lower left here. Again, conversion work is necessary.

Her boots made me think of cowgirls, like Reaper's Janey Blankenship (50282). This would call for you to turn her vest (waistcoat) into a proper jacket, and possibly a head swap to get rid of the cowboy hat. link Another possibility would be an aviatrix, like Pulp Figures PHP 19 (above). Artizan has Lily, PLP040 link which would require opening the coat to see the medallion. Grelber |

That Bob Murch figure is not bad at all. Now I'm thinking along the lines of getting the Copplestone figure suggested earlier, using the press mould technique to duplicate her chest area and adding that to the Murch figure. The fur collar needs removing and a head swap is in order, so some converting of that general area is needed anyway. On another note (just for other nostalgic fans of the game), this cosplayer does the character justice, I think: pressf7.se/incognito/?p=444 |

I would have thought that Hasslefree would have something suitable hfminis.co.uk/shop or perhaps Crooked Dice link |

Shadow Forge Miniatures shadowforge.com.au has a couple which might work in their Character group. They don't sell direct, you need to go through Eureka Miniatures to order them. |

Hasslefree has a few not-Buffies that come somewhat close, but their jeans are very tight and modern-looking. I know from experience that I can't sculpt loose-fitting clothes (it's much more difficult than it sounds) and I assume my friend doesn't have that sort of sculpting skills, either. Didn't find anything suitable at Crooked Dice, I'm afraid. The Reaper cowgirl could be in the running, although the cleavage might actually need toning down on that one |
