Hey guys. I'm using microarmor to do my A-I gaming using FoW. Each tank/vehicle is based individually on wood bases about 1" by 3/4". I thought about doing the bases in tan with a grit cover, like sand, but that just stands out so much if I decided to the Jordanian front (where I understand there is less sand and more green or dirt). Any thoughts on a good, middle of the road basing scheme? Or should I just go with sand and not worry about it?

Seems like a medium Khaki-gray sand/dirt mix with scrub vegetation would fill the bill properly….some errant rocks would also add to the "feel".

Sandy with clumps of greenery. My standard "arid" basing scheme, same as I use on my Punic Wars bases.

Sounds good…thanks for the thoughts. I've got all that stuff in my basing "arsenal" so I can get started. Thanks guys!
