At one point, I was going to use 1/72 ones for Grot Bombz. |

Nice work. Can't really tell the difference between this and a real Citadel Dakkajet, though I don't play Orks. Size looks to be close enough too based on the pilot. |

Great work – but what is the cost difference between the model kit used and the GW kit. I am asking because I have seen some great kit bashing for Warhammer 40K orks. Some kit bashing is a lot of fun time but really no difference in price between GW stuff and the kits used. Some, the price doesn't matter because the person loves the kit bashing, and an Ork army in 40K is one of the few that allows kit bashers to crazy. Again, very good work. |

Great conversion Frankietanch! I'm just delving into WH40k myself and thought the Ork jets looked similar to Migs. Ted |

Miniatureships, the cost will definitely be cheaper but you need to plan ahead, which I didnt so i end up paying slightly more.. the 1/48 kit costs about USD15 / GBP 9, but the time taken to build will be longer as you need to make rivets, plates , scratchbuild the supashootas..so its more random as there's no standard instructions to follow
whats more for folks attending tournaments I guess the official kit will be more practical in the long run..plus it has lotsa delicious parts too! For other conversion that is lol..I had the GW one but just can't go about building it until the new ork codex comes out
so
Thanks for viewing guys! |

Also, unassembled MiG kits can be quite cheap on the second-hand market. |
