From Modelling Festival in Bytom.

Question: This has been the original "color" of that vehicle?. Why not a "cammo"?

I am assuming that the vehicle is late to very late period of the war. The primer was a pinkish red color. By late in the war, some vehicles did not get a top coat of paint. Sort of like driving off the assembly line and right into battle.
