I would love to see all sorts of Asian ships, although I just sold off my 1/2400 junks (meant to fit in with European ships for a project I surrendered on). |

This page ( thecheappages.com/junks.html ) has quite a few references, but more for Chinese ships, I got the first book on the list (Junks and Sampans of the Yangtze) out on interlibrary loan years ago and accidently photocopied most of the drawings. Osprey also has three related books, a two part series on Asian ships, and one on Asian pirates.

AFAIK there's only the NavWar junks at 1:1200.
It is frustrating trying to find suitable vessels to match with Asian projects.
Personally I'm trying to put together an East India convoy, the Indiamen should be reasonably easy to source, (though trying to figure out which types is an exercise in head-desk) Rod Langton does a Sambuk in his Rennaissance range, but that seems to be about it at 1:1200… |
