How original. link Shout your name. Jump in the air. Hit things. Well, at least the job description is pretty much the same. "Who are you?" "I AM CONA--- no, wait, I mean, HERCULES!" No word on whether it's set in THSPARTA! or not. |

Anything with Dwayne Johnson in it should go straight to DVD. |

I'm torn. Dwayne Johnson is a decent enough actor and I kinda like him in his other roles. However, this is is another Hollywood treatment of Greek mythology and is bound to suck
badly. What's a fella to do!? |

I like Dwayne, and he's better for the part than Pee Wee Herman. |

Or that pathetic actor in the Conan remake, no, I don't mean Ahnold. |
Jakar Nilson | 27 Mar 2014 12:49 p.m. PST |
C'mon! Jason Mamoa was the only good thing in the Conan remake. (Ok, Ron Perlman was too
) Strangely enough, the Hercules trailer meets my expectations of what a Hercules movie should be. I don't know how the movie's going to turn out, but so far it looks like it's not Disney's Hercules. |

Hercules was given 12 tasks, mainly involving killing or stealing stuff. He wasn't asked to write philosophy and write music. Given that, a muscle bound wrestler seems an ideal choice to me. Mind you, I am a great fan of classic barbarian movies, big guys with axes and buxom ladies, maybe the odd pet tiger or two etc. Mind you, I also enjoyed 300, it was a great movie of a graphic novel. |

Something is wrong here. I liked the trailer. I really, really love Greek Mythology and this didn't make me puke like certain other film trailers have. |
John the OFM | 27 Mar 2014 5:11 p.m. PST |
I always get annoyed when Greek gods and heroes are given Latin names. Grumble grumble grumble I prefer "Heracles". they could have gone with Steve "stone cold" Austin.. Or Mick Foley. |
Rogzombie | 28 Mar 2014 4:07 p.m. PST |
At least Foley would do his own stunts

Hi, I think Dwayne Johnson is OK in a sword and sandals role like the Scorpion King and the trailer looks great. I think I'll go and see this as it might be the perfect inspiration for my 7th Voyage games. All the best, George. |
