I've been tinkering with digital sculpting for quite a while and am nearly due for a new laptop. Do any of you use or have used a touch screen laptop for digital sculpting? Just not sure if it would be worth the investment for the ability to pull and modify with the touch of a finger vice my wacom tablet where I use my hand while looking in another area(very strange to get used to at first). Any input is appreciated. Thanks all. |

I have tried it. For me the wacom is so much better because my hand isn't in the way of what I am trying to see and do! |

If you have the money for it, you can have the cake and eat it too. There are a few laptops/tablets with combined touch screen/active stylus like the microsoft surface pro with which can actually use a wacom stylus and get the pressure sensitivity. |

The problem that will bite you is that Wacom has much better tracking and pressure sensitivity than most touch screens. |
