Hi all,

Anyone know of a manufacturer that sells plastic board game pieces that are *very much like* Axis and Allies ones? I remember some time ago browing the webpage of a firm that made very nice alternative A&A pieces, but can't now stuble upon it.

I definitely *don't* mean the prepainted tabletop miniatures wargaming range – I mean the *board game*.

I know that people sell bags of A&A bits on e-bay, but I'm after a *small quantity* – in particular, a handful of destroyers and factories, and possibly flak guns.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any halp!

I have factories, flak guns, infantry, tanks and planes ( no ships) from a salvaged A&A game. Contact me at bofoisme@yahoo.com if you or anyone else is interested.

Wow! I never knew all those different versions of A&A existed. I still have my original one.

Yep, Historical Board Gaming is the best of the best for this kind of thing. I recommend them entirely!

I have the A&A D-Day and Battle of the Bulge games; I bought some GHQ 88's, Tiger II's and Cromwell tanks to upgrade some of the pieces. Some the infantry were also replaced with Matchbox 1/76 and dime store figures

The HBG site link is great – I would love to get the Churchill VII, commando figures and Germans in overcoats, but it appears you can only buy them in packs of other stuff
