Empress is selling them, but I am pretty sure Mutton Chop Miniatures (Paul Hicks) is making them.

Those are lovely.

And perhaps just in time for me to order some for Round 10 of the Lead Painters League… huzzah!

I like the "Brits". – Can I call them that? Maybe, better as imperial troops. Anyway I like them for the very British Civil War because they don't have gas mask pouches in the front. Territorial troops, or some kind of militia. Could I use them in Ireland in the 1920s?

One problem with most manufacturers is they like to load figures down with equipment. If these troops were in combat would they be carrying those big packs with them or they have left them at camp or somewhere behind the lines? Just more stuff to paint.

This release of British are for the opening battles of the war. They went into the opening skirmishes in full marching order. Do not fear I will represent both sides in lighter order in the future.

Great news, especially to hear it from the source!

My order has arrived..yay!
The first two figures are primed and awaiting paint :smt004
What can I say..possibly the best sculpts by PH I've had the privilege to get my hands on.
Finally a Great War range ticking all boxes. Even the weapons are super accurately detailed and -for once- in the right proportions.
I have massively high hopes for all future releases in this stunning range.

I truly hope Victrix is taking a very close look at those beauties and will produce compatible plastics in similar quality!!
Never mind the bar is now really rather high..keep trying!

Thanks Empress for the lightening fast delivery..
You've made my weekend!

Cheers

Those are some great looking early war figures. I wish they made them in 15mm. Very nice!

Are my eyes deceiving me or have you gone for the old Rifle Brigade capbadge there, Paul ;-)
