Thought I would post this as a couple of friends thought it was helpful. I found that a drink container we buy has an opening that can easily double as a door for 15/28mm terrain buildings/etc.

The black door is from a 365 Organic Almond Milk container. I just popped it off, painted it, and glued it on to the piece. It even opens and closes.

I have a few more pictures on my blog site here: link

Hope it is helpful in some way.

If you hadn't mounted it upside down you would have a door with a ramp.

cheers

Lol, yep that does work, too ;)

Like it. More recycling I can do.

Have to add that to my list of packaging bits I collect…shame I just threw out a broth container last week. Thanks for the tip.

Nice. I get these kinds of cartons all the time – a lot of soya milk has the same lid. excellent recycling there!

BTW, what's the figure beside the building? I'm pretty usre you've kitbashed it, but what are the components?

Sealion27 Mar 2014 11:00 a.m. PST

@TwinMirror…that is actually the Necron Annihilation Barge Lord model. I picked it up for cheap from an eBay seller. I think all of the parts were from the Barge set, but I could be wrong.

Take care

I've also found that the caps/lids to contact lens containers are often good for doors.

Cool idea.
