Ah yes, but none that have spelled out that Italeri are actually doing anything more than being a distributor. Now we know that they intend to make injection moulded tanks in 1/56 scale starting with a sherman (m4) and a panther (ausf A) |

Interesting that Italeri was willing to tool up for such a (relative) oddball scale. It will be good that Warlord is getting Italeri's plastic-model expertise and distribution network. I wonder how many fiddly details these kits will have? |

Maybe Warlord could coproduce some terrain with them? The Berlin House kit is great and I wish we would see more like that. |

Can't see it as much of threat to the 1/48th scale plastic kit market, unless wargames population multiplies by a huge factor. Good on Italeri though. |

I imagine they will tool up the master sprues from another scale kit already in existence. Not cheap but still a step ahead from scratch. |
