Howdy,
The Russians had begun fortifying the position, when the whole damn German Army attacks. The German I Corps & Guard Reserve Corp delayed due to limited roads. More to come
Ponder on,

Howdy, There is a whole series of posts, here on TMP. Scenario #5, in the forthcoming Great War East – 1914 scenario book published by Test of Battle games, will include the mini-campaign. The results here are of an ongoing playtest. The supplement is on track to be released at Historicon. Thereafter available on the test of battle website. Ponder on, JAS |

Howdy, As the Russians had begun to entrench, they elected to stand and fight. Russian loses in the battle 11 stands. German loses in the battle 8 stands. The shear weight of the fresh I Reserve Corps was decisive in pushing the Russsians out of Lotzen. They retreat to Lyck. Total losses for the campaign: Russian 85 stands; Germans 70 stands Ponder on, JAS
