Remember that the Fire & Fury orbats are approx 2:1. If you want real numbers, most of what you see there needs doubling. |

Join the TO&E Yahoo Group. There's a lot of good info there. Beware some of the gaming rules TO&Es, since many use a reduced scale, instead of 1 miniature = 1 actual vehicle, in order to play "larger" games on the tabletop, with fewer minis. Some are 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 or 5, or even one vehicle pere company (10 – 18 vehicles), so gamers can play regimental, brigade, or even divisional level games on the tabletop. Most platoons in real life consist of 3 – 5 vehicles, and companies are usually outfitted with 10 – 18 vehicles, or so. You'll note that unit sizes have generally dropped in the 1980s, from the 1950s – 1970s period, e.g. fewer vehicles in the platoons and/or companies, in many cases. |

As mentioned above, the Fire & Fury TO&Es are at 1:2 or 1:3, so for example, 3-tank troops/platoons are represented by 1 model, while 4-tank or 5-tank platoons are represented by 2 models. Each infantry base is a section/squad. |

As mentioned above, the Fire & Fury TO&Es are at a 1:2 or 1:3 for vehicles and guns. So for example, 3-tank troops/platoons are represented by 1 model, while 4-tank or 5-tank platoons are represented by 2 models. Each infantry base represents a section/squad and factors in section/squad weapons. Platoon and higher-level heavy weapons are represented at a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3, like vehicles. |

Thanks for that guys. I'm after infantry companies down to section level. |

Have a look back through this forum, as there have been a lot of discussions on that during the last year or so. |
