Silly hats, wargaming AND a licensed event? I might be in the wrong province!

You are! There is some competition among GMs to get their game near the bar.

Or away from it, depending on their tolerance for rowdiness.

Nice looking venue, some great looking games!!
I particularly like the 20mm Canadian Recon.
Thanks for posting!

Wow, just read about the B&B totals, that's awesome.

Despite all the games, things felt roomier than other years, perhaps from having the WHFB/40K stuff in another room – although I hope they didn't feel left out.

Gord Storey's 20mm stuff is very pretty.

No, the GW players were happy away from the crowds doing their own thing.

I just asked to be added to the mailing list. I always miss this, and I'm usually in Kitchener for the weekend.

Great photos, any idea what rules they were using in the ACW Ironclads game?

20 years …congratulations! I've gone to every one of them and they just get better and better. Thanks to all for making this a great convention.

@Oddball – I'm pretty sure the rules are Sail and Steam Navies. I played in the game last year, and when the rules went up for sale as a pdf, the ship sheets looked similar.

Excellent work by James and the rest of the "red shirts". Had a great time catching up with friends and playing in Two great games:

1) Mark's Magnesia Impetous game, with a great group of players

2) A crazy Wild West Zombie Apocalypse game. I can't remember the GM's name (Chaplin?, sorry buddy). He was as entertaining as his game.

Wish North Bay Hobbies would return though. I suppose it's a long drive for them.
