Hi Guys Can anyone tell me if Foundry ACW 28mm would look ok on the same table as Perry miniatures? I want to build the Irish Brigade in 28mm (in greatcoats) but most of my current collection are Perry, Old Glory 2nd Edition and Sash and Saber. I won't be mixing them in with the existing figures, so it's a unit all of 'Foundry' on a table of Perrys' I was considering using Redoubt Miniatures also, but they are rather larger than Perrys Thoughts? |

We've got figures from loads of companies and we find as long as you keep them in separate units there 's no problem at all. Some figures from differing manufactures will mix well enough and others won't. |

Here's a size comparison for some of the 28s:
L to R: Perry, Perry plastic, OG 2nd Ed, S&S, Foundry, Mike Fenlon, Redoubt, Elite. |

Very helpful as I'm going through the same thought process myself. I think only Perry and Foundry are compatible with each other. I wish the Perrys would continue to add to their ACW metal range. The lack of mounted cavalry and even mounted line officers is a shame and a problem. No command for the dismounted cavalry skirmish line, etc. Great range but very limited compared to say Redoubt. Too bad the Redoubts and Perrys are not really compatible. Thanks again for the great images. |

Very useful comparison! I am adding mounted command stands to my collection and love the Perry generals, but their range lacks mounted standard bearers! Mixing in foundry should take care of that issue! |
