Hi Everyone:

I really like Gripping Beast's Normans, but I don't like the older or newer horses. Has anyone used GB riders on Perry WOTR horses? The horses can be seen here:

Please note; this thread is about using Perry horse with GB metals. I am not interested in the Conquest Games' Plastic Norman cavalry. In the past, I used the Perry ACW horses for my Renegade WW1 and they look fantastic. Maybe the GB riders would fit the plastic horses as well.

Sincerely,

I tried GB Norman knights on Conquest Games plastic horses, and didn't work very well. The horses are (surprisingly) too wide for the GB riders. I also have a shedload of Normans currently dismounted as I don't like the horses. If I could find suitable mounts…

Damon.

Perry have a Crusader range which I painted as Normans. Very nice horse, quite slimline but accurate.

I don't know if these would work, I just placed a small order myself. Some of them might be useful though.
