Hot on the heels of 290, Slingshot 291 is now at the printers and should hopefully be with us mid April.
Here is what is in this issue:
- Byzantine Armies – A Quick Summary, by Perry Gray
- The New Cavalry Formations of the Sylloge Tacticorum, AD – 904, by Ilkka Syvanne
- Depiction of Horse Archers, by Perry Gray
- The Battle of Melitene AD 576, by Ilkka Syvanne
- Battle Reports and Wargaming Analysis, by Perry Gray
- Anglo-Norman Army: 1066-1181, by David Blanchard
- The Alexander Sarcophagus, by Roy Boss & Patrick Waterson
Note – There has been some confusion among SoA members about just when renewal is due. Membership expiry is now noted on the address label you receive with your Slingshot. The formula is last Slingshot number – membership number, so if the first number is 291 this means that your renewal is due after Slingshot 291.
