Looks good for a few ships in a ship to ship action. I wonder how it well it would work for fleet actions.

I've enjoyed our games so far.

The three levels of rules mean you can have more or less complexity/flavour as you wish.

I've heard complaints that all the chits, counters and markers make the game very "fiddly" where maybe a roster or some other method would make it easier to play (from a physical handling standpoint, not a rules standpoint).

How about an app to take care of all that?

Not very unless you have a lot of people.

Two ships per person is about the limit

all the chits, counters and markers make the game very "fiddly"

It does have pretty high "Plano Factor" but then separated correctly set is fairly fast. Just keep the action tokens as a set for each ship.

Counters and markers don't make a game fiddly. Fiddly mechanics make a game fiddly. You want fiddly? Play some old SPI wargames! Oy! Just sayin'….

If you think this game is fiddly, as CPBelt said. SPI had some fiddly games, Air War leaps to mind.

All the tokens go on your playsheet anyway – not next to your ship.

I find those "block" bases very very very annoying.

The ships' masts are too fragile and break easily, and I am VERY careful with the plastic minis in my collection of figures and models…
