I have been working on this army off and on for about a year or so, in between painting up releases for the store. Seeing it on the table, I actually thought it would be a bit bigger! I think it is done for now, until I commission some pterodactyl riders and maybe get my T-rex from the lizard-rider line de-scifi'd. Without further ado, a series of army and then my favorite detail shots:
Ceratopsid Guard with Lizard Sorceror-Lord:

Beautiful. What rules are you planning to use these for? |

Very nice! I really like the look of the full army on the table. I provides some needed inspiration to finish my 6mm project. As a followup to the question Allen57 asked,"What rules are you planning on using?" |

Thanks guys! As for rules, lately I have zero time to game. For a quicker game, or a bigger game that could finish quickly I would go for Mighty Armies. The unit construction allows for some flavor, but overall the rules are simple enough to go quick. If I want to really sit down and make some flavorful armies, I would go with Mayhem from Bombshell Games. In fact, they just released another nifty expansion for the game. I would say it is more complex than Mighty Armies, but the unit creation system allows for more unique unit types. Then there is always the classic Fantasy Rules!3 or TCE which I have always had a soft spot for. |
