Embedded below are several photos of a 6mm-scale board I worked up for a playtest tomorrow of a scenario I'm developing entitled "Into the Fray at Briey." A rifle company of the US 357th Infantry Regiment, supported by Shermans and TDs, have been ordered to seize the crossroads on the western edge of the mining town of Briey as part of US XX Corps' advance on Metz. The crossroads is defended by a couple of platoons of Volksgrenadiers supported by off-board mortars and two Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzers, of the 559th VGD.
