As per the title, any manufacturers who make these apart from battlefront? As the mainstay of the British Reece regiments in Normandy, I can't work out why no-one seems to want to make them – I can get every other obscure limited production run armoured car it seems! |

Check out Skytrex.com's command decision line. They have two Humbers a recce and a scout version: either of those it? |

BF's isn't really a MK IV,its just a MK III with a 37mm gun iirc ? LES |

BF do a Humber Mk IV in the Graubner pack IIRC. |

That's not really a Mark IV though. The turret hatches aren't right for one thing. As a former TMPer has it:
In 15mm, you have to buy the Battlefront "Humber III/IV" model, choose the right weapon, and then go to work with chisel and putty to put the two turret hatches in line with each other. from link |

Skytrex only do the light Reece cars – different beasts entirely :-( |

As has been says, the Battlefront 'Humber Mk IV Armoured Car' has the wrong turret hatches, but some of us have no shame
And as has also been said, the Humber Scout Car and Humber Light Recce Car are VERY different beasts. Scout Car:

The BF Humber IV needs to have the stowage boxes and spare tyre on the right side of the hull fixed too. |

So
basically no one makes the most common a/c used by the British in Normandy? Anyone know why/hazard a guess? I would have thought there would be a reasonable market. Is it an overly complex shape to cast or something? |
Jemima Fawr | 23 Mar 2014 4:49 p.m. PST |
Also very common in Italy and Burma, as well (along with the near-identical Fox Mk II). |

The BF Humber IV needs to have the stowage boxes and spare tyre on the right side of the hull fixed too. Not done by me,but here's how to do it. linkLES |

Poiter50 is right pack GE890 Viktor Graebner is a humber IV accordingly. |

GE890 Viktor Graebner is a humber IV accordingly. So why is the storage bin,the same as a Mk III ? linkLES |
Leadgend | 24 Mar 2014 7:29 p.m. PST |
The "Humber IV" in the GE890 blister is the same as the other BF Humber IV, ie a Humber III with a 37mm gun. |

Historically you can give Graebner a Humber Scout car! The argument is it is mentioned that he bent down and banged on the hull of the vehicle to tell his driver to move off! Very difficult to do in a turret. We did initially look at giving both options in the original lists. Bot then again the majority of sources say it was a Humber IV
but with all things you can never be certain. My wifes Uncle Wally dropped a Gammon bomb into an open topped "tank" near the bridge, yet only until recently did i find out what the unit was and who it belonged to. However it is mentioned as a 75mm SP gun so it could be anything which was open topped. |
