Pulp Girl21 Mar 2014 12:21 p.m. PST

I finally got my new Pulp Girl miniature painted up! I'm going to do a variant color to see which one I like more but I think this one looks pretty awesome. :D

This was a single-player scenario with the objective being to destroy all of the poison before it is shipped around the globe. But who is this mysterious group creating the toxins?

Pulp Girl and her companions creep quietly into position to overrun the base and destroy the poison.

Bowler sneaks up on a sentry and knocks him down. His fist aches. The flesh of the sentry's face peels off to reveal steel and red eyes.

Mak fires a shot into the machine and it shorts out, halting in its progress. (+1 XP)

Pulp Girl fires into a machine on the other side of the complex, tearing it to shreds. (+1 Tip)

Naga charges at a sentry and it transforms into a large steel robot.

Mike runs to help Naga in her brawl, both him and the sentry going down.

A sentry rounds the corner to confront Pulp Girl. She fires at the robot and it bursts into flames.

The remainder of the automatons are alerted due to the explosions, calling for backup.

Pulp Girl makes her way to the truck of deadly cargo, firing at a sentry and taking it out with her radioactive hand.

Naga takes out the sentry to avenge Mike.

The doors of the buildings swing open to reveal glowing red as reinforcements march out.

Pulp Girl jumps into the bed of the truck and fires at one of the approaching machines.

Mak climbs onto one of the buildings and starts to fire at the automatons from a distance.

Naga begins to disable the mechanism creating the toxic waste.

Pulp Girl tips the barrels of poisonous chemicals over the side of the truck. (+1 Backup)

Mak continues to thin the mob of robots from his perch on the roof.

Bowler knocks down one of the androids on his way to disable the final processor.

A lone sentry blocks Bowler's path.

Naga tears through enough cords to disable the mechanism,

Mak tries to shoot down the sentry to let Bowler pass, but fails.

The automaton charges Bowler and knocks his down, eliminating any chance of completing the final plot point within the turn limit.

The robots pile out from the buildings, surrounding the group who are forced to flee. The androids secure their final processor. Their plans for world domination have been slowed significantly, but not halted…

I had a lot of fun setting this scenario up and taking pictures. Everybody loves a group of robots bent on world domination lol

Love the new Pulp Girl mini, and the AAR as well. Great photos!

Very nice set up and pictures.

(However, Agents of Atlas are Cool. I have a real cognitive disconnect, as I find myself rooting for M-11.)

Great as always!
But should the Pulp girl should not have a purple wig?

;)

Thank you for posting this. Pulp Girl indeed looks too cool.

Who makes the automatons?

The automatons are Hammer of Thor Heroclix – M11

You can usually pick up singles for around $2. USD

Or buy "real" Cybermen from BTD for about $4. USD

Great AAR!

Pulp Girl22 Mar 2014 5:37 p.m. PST

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoyed the AAR. It was lots of fun to play.

Dad picked up about 16 of those M-11 figures when he found a website selling them for less than a buck a piece.

How about a close up of the painted pulp girl mini?

deflatermouse23 Mar 2014 1:31 p.m. PST

Fantastic report. Always great to see pulp robots being foiled.
I find I have an uneasy feeling of further questions. How did they get there, where did thy come from, who is controlling them, what is they plans? Very nefarious.

Pulp Girl24 Mar 2014 4:36 p.m. PST

@The Shadow – These are the only pictures I've taken of her so far. I'll get around to taking some more eventually but my painting isn't that good anyways. I'm working on another version right now using different colors and seeing which turns out better.
