The Dwarvenforge Caverns Kickstarter is rapidly approaching the Million Dollar mark. So far, a pledge for 3 sets will get you 45 additional free pieces. This deal keeps getting better and better.
I was very happy with their performance on last year's Dungeons Kickstarter.

Second and third everything snurl1 said. The caverns might be a little pricier, but you are paying for a lot of detail. The core sets (when buying at least 2) will get 2 more pieces when we get to 1.1 mil. I can't say enough good things about Jeff and Stephen at DF (and whatever little elves they have working behind the scenes). The first kickstarter was the model for what a KS should be. Realistic time frames, on time delivery, and good value for money to bring a new product to market that was impossible otherwise.

If you haven't yet, take a look.

The last Kickstarter was not on time…it was early! :)
They do a great job in for 5 sets so far

In it again as well. Very well run KS and great information and updates from the DF team throughout the process. Even better is all of this is compatible with the Dungeon and even their earlier stuff so you can really connect together a great crawl. Strongly endorse.

I understand the cavern set will be more expensive due to the more detail, but I'm a bit unhappy with how much less you get than the last Kickstarter.

The cavern base set has 25% fewer pieces than the dungeon set.

At $1 USDmil, there are only 11 stretch goals vs 16 for the dungeon.

& those cavern stretch goals add up to 16 pieces & 1 add on pack vs the dungeon's 36 pieces & 4 add on packs.

So I'm thinking of cancelling my pledge since the it's not so much of a deal.

"getting a deal" isn't the point of Kickstarter.

I am extremely happy with KS part 1 and I am already signed up on this one! Great stuff!!!! and a great example of how KS should work!

@Black Cavalier- if you take a closer look, some of the freebies in the last KS were small things like barrels. The current KS seems to be giving out better stuff.

Glad to have you aboard. DF was my first kickstarter and was very well run. This one looks just as good, if not better. Those water sets look great.

If you don't think it's that good of a deal during Kickstarter, what are the odds it will be a lot less of a deal at retail prices??
