Hi all,

The Second Battle of Oporto in 1809 is a battle that I have always wanted to do, and with the near completion of the forces involved I thought I would get on with modelling the terrain for this action.

I am now into the fourth day of this project and have been recording the build as I go.

If you would like to see how things are going and follow the progress and of course comment or ask questions then just follow the link to JJ's

Impressed with your dedication Jonathan!

This is such an important battle as this audacious blitzkreig strike soon pricks the balloon of those who categorise Wellington as a defensively minded general…

Looking forward to seeing the finished result…

Cheers Sparker.

I entirely agree. I always smile when I see reference to Wellington as a defensive commander, I don't think Junot, Soult, Marmont or Joseph would have thought so.

Very impressive! What is the terrain 'blanket' made of?

Very nice looking table. I'm really looking forward to seeing your wargame photos of this neglected battle.
