I would also join a TMP group. I have an Origin 300i fighter and a Constellation as well. I think I can take 3 other people in the Constellation, 2 on the gun pods and 1 in the stunt fighter. I think having enough people to man the beast will be fun. Imagine the potential of a TMP group with the cargo capacity of two Constellations and the fire power of a bunch of fighters to protect the wares. Pool money together for investment and then guard it on deep runs to make some cash off of it. It would have made things a lot easier in Freelancer, one of my favorite games! Count me in guys. I had Wing Commander 1 on 5.25 diskettes signed by Chris Roberts in gold paint pen. Naturally I jumped on this. Will get my info together. |

The Alpha will never be released, what we get might be called Alpha but it will be Mid line Beta. Which means anything we break of a core system, will have to be cost looked at to fix, as so much effort has been done so far in it. He is missing a real boon to have us break it early. |

No, I know some of the team. They are pushing hard to have each playable module be as rock solid as they can before deploying. The decision to delay the dogfight module (which they have in internal testing now) is because the success of fundraising has given them the ability to deliver a platform better suited to larger numbers of players and growth. Plus they are shooting for 60 frames per second minimum which is no mean feat. |
