1st RCHA REG had an ADA battery with 15 blowpipe can anyone confirm the following x3 Detachments of 4 luanchers one to The Vandoos one to the RCR and One to the RCD with the remaining 3 retained by ? RCHA Hqs or Brigade Hqs. What did the use for transport? M113,Iltis,M151?

Not Iltis, not in service until 85-86.

My guess is M113.

The Blowpipes were transported by M151 MUTTs during the 70s and early 80s, but at some point switched to M113. 'First Clash' (c.1984) certainly mentions them being transported by M113 (though the accompanying library photo shows M151).

@RMD
thats what confused me during the C troop RCD withdraw when they are breaking contact it clearly mentions the attached blowpipe detatchment saving the troop leaders behind as riding in a 113 that gets destroyed shortly after he downs a hind leading to his capture…..Mikey

If not M113s then it could be 5/4 ton trucks.
