Hello,

I'm looking to add a Flammpanzer III to my growing arsenal of Bolt Action / Chain of Command models, and I'm trying to decide the most efficient way to do so. Warlord has the excellent FlammHetzer and the converted Char B1, but I'd prefer a Flammpanzer III. I already have a Panzer III, and looking at pictures there doesn't seem to be that much difference between the two.

So, first question: If I was to scratchbuild a conversion "kit" that I could magnetize or swap, what would I have to do different? The gun barrel, certainly, but what else?

Second: are there any manufacturers of 25/28mm Flammpanzer III kits? (Or 1:48 / 1:50 / 1:64, natch). My google-fu has come up dry.

Yes, as I said in that thread, a flammpanzer III is just a Pz IIIM (so no hull side doors, late road wheels and deep wading exhaust system) with a thicker, straight barrel. iirc the base of the barrel lines up with the edges of the rectangular thing stuck on the front of the mantlet.
