Space Station Terrain – That's No Moon link JR Minis has a new Death Star terrain pack available on KS. Seems expensive, but it is a lot of resin. |

Nice, except that isn't a 'trench' and for the costs I would expect it to be. |

Almost double the cost of the already-existing Combat Wombat version, and that's with a real 3D trench and the gun towers: link No waiting for Kickstarter delays either. Don't see a reason to back this one. |

JR Miniatures looks more professional on every level, but yup, that's a chunk of change. It's great to have two options though. |

Yes it does seem expensive and the other one is very good so why back this one then. |

That's not a Deathstar. This is a Deathstar from a game we ran this weekend in Jacksonville, FL (notice that our Trench is really a trench ):

I have to wonder why someone like Amera Mouldings doesn't do some Death Star panels in vacuformed plastic. They could probably charge £5.00 GBP a panel and still come out well ahead profit-wise. |

I see merit in the product -- it has better detailing that the combat wombat version but being JR miniatures – going by past experience I am going to expect some warping also bubbles. if it looks like photos awesome worth it, if I have to fill gaps and air holes no way. it has already made goal so kudos and event he combat wombat version you have work to do to assemble the trench – the way JR is doing it fine as it allows those with out modeling skills to have a clearly defined trench -- what gets me is the fact fantasy flight has not done this or even printed maps of death star. |

@javelin98 – you're probably right, their 1 foot by 1 foot moon surface is only £3.50 GBP link |
