It's about time!

Great post on building the Imp. I think I shared with you that I build a jig out of styrene to help align the parts and speed assembly on mine.

I totally forgot about doing that…even a simple piece of rectangular styrene would have helped. The second one was much easier, but not perfect.

Hoping to have all four built and primed over the next few days, then painted in Panzer Gray next week.

Priming figures as well. Eureka Germans and Rebel/Khurasan Martians. The Rebel mini walker went together very easily…but that is a future post!

I'm very happy to see the mini martian walker in use.
I consider it to be the first of the HAMR suits, in my own twisted way.

Best,
JBR

I did a write-up of my own Imp assembly adventures on my website here link

I do like the Imps and I hope to get a couple more.

JBR – The walker will be part of an upcoming blog post. It's a crackin' good mini…the difficult part was deciding which combo of weapons and arms to use!

davebill – NICE article on the Imp! I am going to update my blog with your link! You should post that on the RAFM forum as they would appreciate the content.

Very good guide to assembly. I find that very beneficial for those who may not have a modeler's intuition. Kits like that one are finicky and can be quite frustrating for beginners.

Thanks; I really like the Imp, and would like to put my GZG NSL troopers in them, but allusions to the model's 'complications' discouraged me… now I think it might be time to grab a platoon

Fritdas – from time to time RAFM will run a special…you may want to wait until they announce one (which rarely gets mentioned on TMP). You may want to sign up for their email list so you know when the next one occurs.

I really don't get why people say its hard to assemble. Its a box with wheels.
