A Kickstarter campaign was launched several weeks ago to fund a collector edition of the nipponising boardgame, Tokaido. The game includes miniatures and following the pledges, they can be pre-painted. Finally, if you are interested, run ahead because there are only five days.

Looks like they will meet all the stretch goals too. Looks like it will be a beautiful game.

New stretch goals added … but frankly a bit disappointing as they are so far ahead of projections I think they are a bit of a token gesture. Still looks like a great KS though.

You need to be careful about how much crap you add to the kickstarter if you want to deliver anything remotely resembling on time. While I will overlook a month or 6 weeks most of the time, especially if the company has been good about communication, I'm not very fond of Cool Mini or Not as regards the Sedition Wars KS and the Relic Knights KS.

OGRE took forever, too but at least Evil Stevie was good about keeping people informed.
