On the weekend we played some scenarios based from the Team yankee board game, lets just say my unlucky dice rolling really helped the Polish and soviet onslaught.

The game table and miniatures look great!

What rules did you use, Team Yankee modified for miniatures or another set? (I have the TY boardgame and a lot of the scenarios are badly balanced to begin with, I don't remember any scenarios featuring UK units though)

Nice looking kit.

Looks like a fun game, at least for the commies.

Thanks for sharing your pics and battle report.

Outstanding game and Batrep mate!

(I think the rules they use are Rapid Fire moderns)

The brits were just inserted into the scenario as I do not have enough yanks….yet

Nice game. Great looking pictures. Thanks for sharing.

If you play enough modern games, you know that sometimes NATO forces just can't catch a break, no matter what the players do. This was one of those games.

Solution: play it as round one of a campaign game. See what happens when NATO's survivors fall back and call for Cobras and A-10s to cover their retreat, while the Warsaw Pact second wave tries to cross the bridge in force.

If you play it out, please let us know how it goes.

Yep, lots of deep defense I suspect, in Europe.

I guess NATO could get organized as well, and counterattack too.

Cobras, Apaches, and A-10s will certainly ruin one's day.
