My 28mm Kingsford Miniatures samurai of the Takeda clan now have an enemy to fight – the Hojo clan. I can't vouch for the accuracy of my paint-jobs or their flags. I've found it very difficult to research samurai armies. That isn't because it is hard to find information. Rather, the problem is almost that there is too much rather complex information! But these models suit my purposes, even if they aren't absolutely historical. They're just for gaming, after all! More info on my blog: link |

The Sengoku Hojo
as opposed to the earlier Taira-descended Hojo Shikken
.were remarkably resistant to change. In an age given over to the gun they remained exemplars of the old Kanto traditions. Cool choice! |

Really glad I subscribed to your blog. Would you mind sharing some closeups? Of the Hojo I mean. I know the Takeda are on the blog. |
