Would folks here be so kind as suggestions for suppliers for modern era weapons and civilian type vehicles in either or both of the scale mentioned in the header?

I'm considering the idea of a post-apocalypse type of game, with improvised fighting vehicles – I'll be researching myself, of course, by I've found that the odds are many of the folks here will have places to look that I miss or simply not cover in my own searches.

For weapons, TAG might be one option.

Hasslefree also do some modern weapons; SA80s, G36, MP5 and FN P90s

For vehicles, ebay is your friend. I've found that MAISTO although 1/64 have been a good match for my 28mm minis and generally quite affordable

For 1/56 (and close to) vehicles I use mostly SIKU, though you need to check the scale for each vehicle. I have the info and images on a lot of them (and similar makes) on my project page here:
