Just picked up NEW copies of "Wargaming on a Budget" by Iain Dickie and "Grand Battery- A Guide &Rules for Napoleonic Wargames" from Half Price Books in Everett, Washington. I don't game Naps, but I am always interested in Wargaming no matter the period, and the book has lots of eye candy. Across Everett Mall Way Hobbytown U.S.A. Sells "Wargaming on a Budget" for 30 bucks plus tax and I got mine for 6 bucks from HPB. "Grand Battery" was 8 bucks, and each title had about a half-dozen copies available. Usually HPB has scads of Warhammer Fantasy and 40K books (not my interest and they are overrated) and never any Warhammer Ancients, Shieldwall, Chariots, etc., available, so finding these two books was a surprising delight! If you are in the Everett area, check out Half Price Books, or maybe check to see if the Lynnwood store has them. Good luck! |
