No, not GW's, but the ones over in Africa, back in the day, from the 1960s and 1970s. So, which figures do you recommend for the opposing sides, in 15mm scale? Compatability in terms of size and heft of the minis, is a plus. Also, what troops for Mad Mike Hoare's mercs? |

Peter Pig makes great troops in bush hats, and a pack of guys in short pants and short sleeves. Nice igures. |

Go with Peter Pig. There is a wide enough range to cover both the Africans and mercs with no problems. I've even used them as Belgian para-commandos for Operation Dragon Rouge. |

If you step up to 20mm Under Fire has some beautiful figures. If you are set on 15mm PP would be the way to go |

I will second Stosstruppen's comment, the Under Fire minis are very nice, exceptional detail. |

You also might want to check out modern African bushwars yahoo group-lots of albums and links that can also help you out. Daddy's Little men blog does Bushwar in 15mm and we have a member currently designing his own range in 15mm. here is link-- link |

Old Glory Uk does some nice figures including some wonderful Rhodesian Troopies. |

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the Eureka, Rebel, or Old Glory UK figs, so will have to check those out, too, in addition to the PP ones, which I've been aware of for some time. Wish the latter had a few more poses for some of their troops, e.g. helmeted Soviet/WARPAC troops, and Vietnam-era US ranges. |
