Thanks Rudi. I think a chart of multi-company size compatibility would be a great thing

This is further complicated by the fact that many companies are not really internally consisted with the size of their figures across ranges. Further complicated by some ranges changing owner from one company to another. |

So many great ranges, but not even the best, most inclusive of them have enough diversity. There's really no choice but mixing, even if the effect can be kinda weird. I'm currently considering building a Tibetan army using a mix of Curteys and Irregular miniatures, using the Curteys for the more "upscale" warriors and the Irregulars for those coming from Kham and Amdo. |

Funny you should say that, Black Francis! The same thought occurred to me and I've made a start here

Mirliton is interesting because their Communal Italian Range is big and fits in with Black Tree and larger mfgs. Some of their other medieval seem to be smaller by a fair amount and match better with 25mm stuff. I have not seen all of their ranges though. |

Haven't checked out Black Tree yet, thanks for the heads up. |

Also, some of the Mirliton ranges (namely the fantasy ones, though a number of figures also work for historicals) are former Grenadier ranges from a variety of sculptors. |
