My IDF M48 using battlefronts Vietnam Pattons. Modified the turret with the turret hatch from spare PCS shermans parts. Hope you like them.

Nicely done. One question: Why did you remove the turret handrails? Just curious. I always found them a distinctive (and probably very useful) feature of this vehicle's turret. |

Looks good! I like the turret cupola swap. What's your technique for painting bogie wheels? I could use a trick, or three, for those. |

Dye4minis that hand rails where broken off from Battlefront. They resin is brittle causing the resin to break. Looking like I need to get some wire to make replacements. Kyotebluer thanks for the tip. Need to spray some dust on the tracks and bogie wheels. Mako11 I just carefully brush the paint. I like using vallejo Black grey paint number 882. |

Thanks for the tip. Thin wire, or styrene rod should work, with a bit of superglue. |

sgt Dutch: Still a nice model job as is! I looked at the orignal turret photo and it did look like part of it was missing. That was why I asked. May it make some model T-55s model widowmakers! Best Tom |
