Sgt Steiner,

Great looking game! Where did you get your hills?

Sgt Steiner15 Mar 2014 3:17 p.m. PST

Hills are from a UK company S&A Scenics

Thank you!

After buying some S&A scenic hills I decided I particularly liked shallow hills for games where units had large footprints and could fall or slide off steeper hills.
I make my own now.

2mil mdf for the base, contours of pizza package extruded polystyrene. Cut roughly, sand smoothish. Fill with polyfilla and pva. Paint.
I bought some 2 and 3 mil upvc foam board ( the really tough construction stuff like used for soffits ) but this turns out to be a bit too tough really. Takes too much work cutting and sanding for my taste.
