Well, in theory they do avoid the desert bases in the jungle terrain issue for those who like their figures multi-purpose/multi-game setting compatible. Here are the Litko ones. link

I don't think those small bases are usable, unless you're messing with the GZG astronauts. The bigger ones, however
I'm using the thicker Litko acrylic bases for my Zero-Gee Nomads (Infinity force, where every single model comes from a unit that is Zero-Gee capable). |

There is a fellow on LAF that has used similar disks stained with random spatters of red ink for surprisingly good looking wound markers. LB |

The Acrylic Discs in the first auction would be ideal for giving your grav or hover vehicles the appearance of having some lift, nice find. |
