Well, in theory they do avoid the desert bases in the jungle terrain issue for those who like their figures multi-purpose/multi-game setting compatible. Here are the Litko ones. link

You could use them as stands for 6mm – 15mm hover/grav vehicles.

I don't think those small bases are usable, unless you're messing with the GZG astronauts. The bigger ones, however… I'm using the thicker Litko acrylic bases for my Zero-Gee Nomads (Infinity force, where every single model comes from a unit that is Zero-Gee capable).

There is a fellow on LAF that has used similar disks stained with random spatters of red ink for surprisingly good looking wound markers. LB

The Acrylic Discs in the first auction would be ideal for giving your grav or hover vehicles the appearance of having some lift, nice find.
