Shapeways designer Carlos2k10 now offers some obscure bombers of the 1930s in 1/285 scale. In addition to four versions of the Douglas B-18 (the original and the B-18A, both with wheels raised or lowered), he has the Dornier Do 23, Caproni Ca.101, Loire et Olivier LeO 20, Mitsubishi Ki.2, Boulton Paul Sidestrand, and B-P Overstrand. All the models are in white strong flexible (WSF) material, which means they're robust and inexpensive. Proportions are good and detail is quite adequate for models of this size. B-18s, pretty cool. And he does a Snark, too. Nice! |

very NICE. Wish someone would help out us 3mm (1/600) gamers with some interwar aircraft of this nature. |
