I know that Foundry makea Roman Nobles pack but I'm looking for the head cheese, the top dogs, the Emperors themselves( well not all Emperors, Julius Caesar would be nice too mad well as those around him). While any will do I am of course looking for the popular ones. I guess that's kind of obvious, if they don't make Augustus what are the odds that they make Galba? As for the specifics I'm looking in 28mm and available in the US. Thanks, |

No idea about US availability. I'm in Australia. Off the top of my head: Foundry make Julius C, Claudius, Vespasian and Trajan. Warlord make Claudius, J C (of sorts) and Marcus Aurelius. Aventine make MA, Lucius Veras, Trajan, Severus and Albinus. I had a very old Old Glory Julius Caeser at one point. AA make a packet of foot and mounted personalities that include figs that could be MA or emperors from about his time. They also have 2 mtd personality packs with emperors. There are probably more but that's what springs to mind. |

Given his proclivities and the things he regularly did in public it is a good job nobody makes a model of Caligula.
Mind you.. it would be a simple conversion – change emperor by removing too much sprue… |

The Warlord Emperors are – interesting link I am a bigger fan of the Marculus Aurelius fig (which I have) than the Casesar one (which I don't) |

A Caligula figure could be mixed with some Hasslefree figures to make a bizarre diorama. But no Augustus? Well since their aren't any Lincoln or Churchill figures I guess that political figures aren't all that popular. Thanks, at least I can do Iulius. |

There are a couple of Churchills about. Black Tree – have 1 I think. I have a Lincoln in my collection – DR Who range from Black tree. I forgot about, but recommend, the Gorgon Claudius. Like Frederick, I like the Warlord world weary MA – very movie Gladiator like. I have an Anthony made by a mainly 15mm company (nice figs) that made 28mm personalities – can't remember the name. they may have other emperors |
