Cool. Where was Wadi Majid historically? (i.e. Libya or Egypt?)

Howdy,

The scenario came from Greg Novak's "Over the Top." I don't have the source material. His description of the battle is not clear on location. However, reading notes on the second Senussi scenario, suggests the first, Wadi Majid, was located in Egypt.

Ponder on,

JAS

I put the game on. Wadi Majid was in Egypt.

Wadi Majid (Wādī Mājid) is a wadi (class H – Hydrographic) in Muhafazat Matruh (Matru?), Egypt (Africa) with the region font code of Africa/Middle East. It is located at an elevation of 38 meters above sea level.
Wādī Mājid is also known as Wadi Magid, Wadi Majid, Wâdi Mâgid, Wādī Mājid.

Its coordinates are 31°21'0" N and 27°7'0" E in DMS (Degrees Minutes Seconds) or 31.35 and 27.1167 (in decimal degrees). Its UTM position is NQ16 and its Joint Operation Graphics reference is NH35-03.
