Hello all,
I have not done much with my blog in the last year or so, but here's a big article on the start of my Uncharted Seas Fantasy Naval fleets. link There's some good stuff in there about making bases for ships in general, and crafting pennants from champagne bottles, (?) so historical gamers should find something of use, too. :D Enjoy! - Martin |

Wow, fantastic work! I've dragged out my unpainted 1st gen Uncharted Seas stuff, the human ships look quite different now -- but I also have some 1/600 Armada ships from Triton to fill out the fleet as well. Thanks for the great modeling ideas. |

You're welcome, SBMinisguy! I might have to investigate the Triton range for sails, masts, etc. Hadn't heard of those before, so thanks! |

Here's the Triton 1/600th line at Skytrex: link And you may also want to check out Bay Area Yards, they have a great line of 1/600 ACW ships, but their accessories include masts, spars, cannon and forts: link Right now I'm using historical US ACW ironclads as "Iron Dwarves" but I'd also like to do some simple conversions so I can do some historical Uncharted Seas mixed with fantasy stuff. I have a Shroud Mages squadron and a Bone Griffins squadron painted up (plus two kit-bashed "Ancestral Griffin" ships), Humans on the painting table now, still have Elves, Orcs and Ralgard in a box in my closet

I knew about Bay Area Yards, but couldn't find the Tritin minis, so thanks for the link, SB! |
