It's certainly a nice model, but would a gun of this size ever appear on the tabletop? Especially in 28mm scale

but would a gun of this size ever appear on the tabletop? Well, the designation sIG (schwere Infanterie Geschütz) means it was an infantry gun. One of its roles was to demolish fortifications using a massive stielgranate. This had a maximum range of approx. 1000m and would obviously be fired in the direct fire mode. |

Maybe? I did a quick research and it seemed to bounce between 88s and 105s I said "like" to say have a similar but not that exact scenario. Basically a "storm the position" type scenario. |
