Went to the Alumwell show (Wolverhampton UK) today. Very nice show. Show committee very helpful indeed. Quality of games was equal to the best either side of the Atlantic (opinion of course, but based on experience). Well done to all those clubs that spent many hours making great games.

I enjoyed it very much. I was pleased to see that quite a few games this year were of a type that would fit on the kitchen table – good inspiration.

For once it wasn't on Mothering Sunday!
Quite a good selection of traders & it seemed very busy early on. Some really nice games on display – some of the participants of which were even seen chatting to the general public (….I know .. whatever next!).
I even met up with some old pals from Birmingham who hadn't been to the "new" venue before – they get dizzy & have nose bleeds if they can't see the M6 or Spaghetti Junction ;-)
That topped off with a few beers watching England beat Wales made for a most pleasant Sunday entertainment.

Another great show – and yes, it has just occurred to me, not on Mothering Sunday!

I had a great time and have written two short reports. More to come.

Another good Show. The excellent weather did not deter the attendance figures, and the main hall remaind busy into the early afternoon.

Where did this obsession with Mothers Day come from. Next Show MD will be on 11/03/2018, mark your calenders!

A great local show where I seemed to spend far more chatting than actually looking at stuff. Always great to catch up with the Peter Pig team and really enjoyed the Viking game which i played twice.

A couple of books and a single bottle of paint were the only impulse buys ontop of a show preorder.

A great show and some fine looking games on display, and rather suprisingly to buck the trend I have noticed at shows of late going quiet around lunchtime, there appeared to be another influx of folk.

Well done to all involved.

Do we know if the organisers were pleased with the turn out?

Thank you to all the traders, gamers and modellers who made the 2014 such a success.

The morning was especially busy, with the bench mark first 500 visitors through the door by just after 11:00am. Overall attendance was up by around 10%. The sunshine and blue sky did not drag people away early, and the main hall remaind busy well into the afternoon.
