Well-known miniature artist Tony Barton, sculptor of the "AB" Napoleonic range, created this fantastic GI-Joe/Action Man scale figure some time ago, but I only just came across it, and was blown away, so I posted about it on my Maiwand Day blog. If interested, please check it out here:

…and in the meantime, here's a taste:

EDIT: Sorry for the oversized pic. I tried editing to reduce it, but failed.

Amazing work! Unfortunately I can't help thinking that Tony's work on these 1/6th specialist heads and weapons detracts from his Napoleonic 18mm and WW2 20mm sculpting…

Wow!

Sure wish I could get a pair of trousers like that!

Me too, dBerczerk -- for an old GI-Joe, of course!

Sorry, Sparker, I feel your pain. I wish Paul Hicks would get around to sculpting the 28mm 92nd Highlanders in kilt and rolled greatcoat for Empress's Anglo-Zulu War & First Boer War range, so I can use them for 1878-1880 Afghanistan, but he seems to have too much else to do.

Glad you liked it KTravlos!
