I'm painting some toy soldiers to represent US forces during the Pershing Expedition. I can't decide on the shade to use. Pictures and color choices at this link

I'd go with Khaki Grey.

What figures are you using?

I'm using the Little Britons (40mm) from Spencer Smith.

Will you also be painting up some Villistas for Pershing & company to pursue?

Very cool!

Possibley, it depends if I can find suitable Mexicans.I'm building two Toy Soldier armies and basing the uniforms on the 1890-1915 period. Also each unit will represent a country I've visited. My Grandfather was in the Army during the Pershing Expedition.

The project has just started. Three units are done out of a planned twelve. I started the blog to help keep me on track.
