Does anyone make ravens in 28mm? Reaper has one in a pack of familiars, but I'd like a couple dozen, and at one raven per $6 USD or so pack, that will add up really fast. Grelber |

You could ask Table-top World for some: link They might negotiate a reasonable price IF they decide to sell individual birds to you. |

Mega Minis had one or two before they sold off their molds
a look on the website indicates that that mold went to Monday Knight Productions: mondayknight.com I didn't see the ravens in their store though. |

I literally just finished painting the 4 crows that I got from Mega Minis this AM,. and they came oput well, so it would be worth pursuing the question of production further with MKP – I'll popst some pics later. |

Here is a picture of the M.M. Crows (Both Crows and Ravens belong to the genus – Corvus, and are fairly similar in appearance, especially at our scales). The casualty figures are 28mm Redoubt.
More pictures just added to my blog at: link Peter |

Irregular Miniatures had a set of several, but in "True 25," or at least they did years ago. I have them--somewhere--and a grim bunch o' boids they is! You might try to see if they're still around. TVAG |

Many thanks to all of you. I will follow up on these ideas. I didn't mention it, but the Reaper raven, while excellent, is in one position, and having a variety of different ravens would make them more interesting. I spent some time researching, and found ravens are larger than crows, with heavier beaks. As Gonslavo says, this isn't going to translate into 28mm. I live near the mountains, where crow territory meets raven territory, and the best way I've heard to tell them apart is that ravens glide and crows don't. Thanks again, Grelber |

What's the frontage for Ravens these days? I take it depth doesn't really matter

Would the Reaper "Murder of Crows" do? Crows and ravens aren't much different Tell that to an ornithologist. If you think Napoleonic wargamers are bad!! no no no, those glide feathers are all wrong, and that beak is atleat 0.0000001mm to thin for a raven beak. |
