YouTube link Imagine carriers designed and optimised for mass launching these day or night. You could probably expand the size of the carrier strike group by 30-40%. I don't know how this makes me feel. I am conflicted. |

You have to give it to flight deck crew ,tight spaces no margin for error not one sighn of fear or uncertainty

Uh
. You did notice that this bird is about the same size as a F/A-18? So how do you intend to get a bigger strike (with bigger payloads, I assume) on a smaller carrier? Magic, maybe? The laws of physics and aerodynamics haven't been appealed for drones
(And we won't even go near the 'big carrier/small carrier' debate. That horse has already been beaten to death. And the big carrier STILL wins

No, smarty pants. It is Actually smaller by about 15% in overall mass than an F/A-18. PLUS you support fewer pilots on board. Plus you don't need to maintain the human support elements (oxygen etc) in maintenance. The inboard electronics are quick swap components to ease maintenance. |
