I am no longer a Donnybrook virgin. Percy Kirke, my hero figure for the Tangier's garrison is finished. There are a few more pics on my blog if you want to take a look.

What are you doing for the Moors? I've always wanted to do Tangier but could never find out much about the Moors' armament, appearance and organization.

I've got loads of Gripping Beast Dark Age Moors already painted up, so with a few addition, I'll be using them. I do need a few figures with muskets. In the Donnybrook rules they've used Ottoman Turks, so I may have to do a little search for them!

If you are starting from scratch you could start with this range.

They are true 30mm figures, but they will go well with today's 28mm figures.

If the price puts you off you could order on of each and match them against the various opponents offered for the French Foreign Legion.

Perhaps the new plastic 'Arabs' from Gripping Beast are a good start?

Just bought Donnybrook yesterday and I have to admit it's been years since I've been so inspired by a book!

The Bashi Bazouks from the Perry Sudan range?

Possibly some of the Poontonier Barbary pirates range?

Newline Design is also bringing out a new range for Napoleon in Egypt and some of the Egyptians might fit in.

THe Ottoman range from Brigade will certainly be useful

I feel these are the most suitable.

Not sure how accurate this is but gives a good idea about the forces involved

Thanks for that TW link! That definitely gives me some useful info. Like yarr68, I already have a ton of GB Moors, but I wasn't sure how usable they would be.
